The Bureau of Fire Protection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Officer II to join our team in Bali. Responsibility
- Lead and supervise fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical response operations during incidents.
- Develop, implement, and enforce fire safety codes, regulations, and prevention programs.
- Conduct fire inspections of commercial, residential, and industrial properties to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Train and mentor junior firefighters and emergency response personnel in best practices and protocols.
- Coordinate with local authorities, law enforcement, and other agencies during large-scale emergencies or disasters.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, investigations, and post-event analyses.
- Oversee the maintenance and readiness of fire equipment, vehicles, and protective gear.
- Educate the public on fire safety, prevention, and emergency preparedness through workshops and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Emergency Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certification in advanced firefighting, hazardous materials handling, and emergency medical response (e.g., EMT, Paramedic).
- Strong knowledge of national and local fire safety regulations, building codes, and emergency protocols.
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks in high-stress environments.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex situations quickly and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using fire service software, incident reporting tools, and communication systems.
