Responsibility
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, including fires, accidents, and other life-threatening situations, with a focus on rapid and effective intervention.
- Lead and participate in fire suppression activities, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to control and extinguish fires.
- Provide first aid and medical assistance to injured individuals at emergency scenes until advanced medical help arrives.
- Educate the public on fire prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures through community outreach programs.
- Maintain and inspect fire-fighting equipment, vehicles, and protective gear to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, medical teams, and other emergency services to coordinate response efforts during large-scale incidents.
- Document incident reports, investigations, and follow-up actions in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Public Safety, or a related field (or equivalent certification from a recognized fire academy).
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in high-stress environments.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid; additional certifications in HazMat, rescue operations, or fire investigation are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, decisive actions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the public, team members, and other agencies.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as emergency response requires 24/7 availability.
- Clean criminal record and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Prior experience in fire services, military, or emergency response is highly advantageous.
