Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
- Coordinate with the Group Finance Director to develop annual budgets and track financial performance against targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory tax compliance, regulatory standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Monitor and improve internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Prepare comprehensive financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage).
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably within the manufacturing or medical devices industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or SQL accounting systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of local tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory reporting requirements in Malaysia.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
