Responsibility
- Lead the full product design lifecycle, from mood board conceptualization and sketching to final tech pack development.
- Analyze seasonal trend reports, market data, and competitor offerings to influence future collection strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the merchandising and sourcing teams to select high-quality fabrics, trims, and manufacturing techniques.
- Oversee garment fitting sessions, providing clear feedback to production teams to ensure superior quality and brand-standard fit.
- Manage the creation of detailed technical packages (spec sheets) for clear communication with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a creative and supportive work environment within the design studio.
- Ensure designs are delivered on time, meeting all critical path deadlines for seasonal product launches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in apparel design, preferably within a retail or fashion brand environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in sketching, garment construction, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD software.
- Deep understanding of textile properties, manufacturing processes, and garment fitting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate fashion trends into commercial, sellable products.
- Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented culture.
