Responsibility
- Manage and oversee all end-to-end export and import documentation processes, including PIB, PEB, COO, and shipping instructions.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and international trade laws to avoid penalties and shipment delays.
- Coordinate efficiently with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor and manage HS Code classifications to ensure accuracy in duty calculations and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any customs clearance issues or discrepancies promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Analyze logistics costs and suggest process improvements to increase departmental efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all trade transactions for internal and external audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in an EXIM role within a manufacturing or logistics company.
- Strong proficiency in CEISA (Customs-Excise Information System and Automation) and online manifest systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, international payment methods (L/C, T/T), and export-import regulations.
- Certified in PPJK (Ahli Kepabeanan) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with government officials and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
