Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance and accounting functions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the real estate or property development industry is highly desirable.
