Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the optimal functioning of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support facility-related needs and enhance patient care environments.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption and promote eco-friendly practices within the facilities.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or large-scale organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and regulatory compliance in healthcare environments.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools, as well as budgeting and financial management.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or related fields is highly desirable.
