Responsibility
- Lead and manage the ETD Sales Trading desk in Singapore, ensuring seamless high-touch client execution and exceptional service delivery.
- Actively drive client engagement and execution across a comprehensive suite of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) products, including futures and options.
- Cultivate and expand deep, long-standing relationships with institutional clients, understanding their strategic needs and providing bespoke trading solutions.
- Deliver expert market commentary, actionable trading ideas, and comprehensive product knowledge to clients, enhancing their decision-making processes.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to all internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and compliance standards within the ETD trading framework.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including research, structuring, operations, and compliance teams, to optimize client service and product delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales traders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8-10 years of extensive experience in ETD sales trading or high-touch execution, preferably within a leading global investment bank.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing a team or significant client portfolio.
- Profound understanding of global derivatives markets, including futures, options, and related trading strategies.
- A robust existing network of institutional clients and a proven ability to originate, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, navigate complex market dynamics, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant financial certifications (e.g., SGX certifications, Series 3/7/63 where applicable) are highly advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related quantitative field.
