Responsibility
- Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of CMP equipment to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process improvements, equipment upgrades, and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and yield by refining CMP parameters and methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CMP tools.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and equipment to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive demands.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on CMP best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all engineering activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in CMP equipment engineering within semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing industries.
- Proven expertise in equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, and yield enhancement for CMP tools.
- Strong knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control), DOE (Design of Experiments), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, or equipment automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a benefit.
