Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to improve treatment efficiency and reduce energy/water consumption.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain ISO 14001 certification and DOE compliance.
- Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into plant operations and new projects.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on best practices in wastewater management and safety protocols.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for wastewater treatment to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment, ETP operations, or environmental compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of DOE regulations, ISO 14001, and other environmental standards.
- Proven experience in process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SCADA, or environmental modeling software).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Certification in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) or Wastewater Treatment is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
