Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for fraud-prevention services, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable defence systems to mitigate fraud and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Drive technical excellence by establishing coding standards, review processes, and performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyze threat landscapes, proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols across all defence-related projects.
- Represent the engineering team in leadership meetings, providing insights and recommendations to steer company-wide strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within defence or cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time.
- Deep understanding of fraud detection systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and threat mitigation techniques.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and modern development practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or related fields are a plus.
