Responsibility
- Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of M&E systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building systems and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including ISO, ASHRAE, and IES standards.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale M&E projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and energy modeling software (e.g., IES VE, EnergyPlus).
- Familiarity with green building certifications (LEED, Green Mark) and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), PMP, or CMVP are highly desirable.
