Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for optical inspection and automated handling equipment.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and optics teams to integrate electrical components into cohesive, high-performance systems.
- Develop and implement PCB designs, schematics, and firmware for embedded systems and control units.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate electrical designs against performance and safety standards.
- Optimize existing electrical systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability in mass production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in R&D and production phases.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in automation, IoT, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous innovation.
- Document technical specifications, test reports, and compliance certifications for regulatory approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical design, R&D, or automation, preferably in optical/precision equipment or industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad) and simulation software (MATLAB, LabVIEW, or SPICE).
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, Modbus).
- Experience with power electronics, motor control, and sensor integration for automated systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, ISO, UL) and compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
