Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) for financial applications with high availability and fault tolerance.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to streamline DevOps workflows.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) to accelerate software delivery and ensure zero-downtime deployments.
- Optimize Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) clusters for performance, cost-efficiency, and security in production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) for real-time monitoring and incident response.
- Enforce security best practices (IAM, network policies, secrets management) and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2).
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for DevOps culture, including GitOps and SRE principles.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with a focus on cloud-native architectures.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in production environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps, CKAD) are a plus.
