Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses and lakehouse architectures on Azure to support scalable analytics.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, actionable insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Implement best practices for data modeling, partitioning, and optimization in Snowflake to enhance query performance.
- Automate data workflows and deploy CI/CD pipelines for data engineering processes.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in cloud data engineering, Snowflake, and Azure to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Snowflake, Azure, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar tools for data integration and orchestration.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with data lakehouse concepts, Delta Lake, or Iceberg is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for data engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
