Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures to support enterprise-level analytics and reporting.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks to ensure data integrity and privacy.
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage data infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in data engineering best practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in big data, AI, and machine learning to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional design, and database optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
