Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using modern cloud-based technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all company data platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data architecture and software engineering.
- Maintain and monitor existing production data environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance data processing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software development.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related big data tools (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
