Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Azure Data Ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc.).
- Implement and optimize dataflows to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
- Automate repetitive data tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on Python and Azure Data Ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) or related fields are a plus.
