Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Oversee contract negotiations, scope definitions, and compliance with local and international engineering standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant and client inquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with project managers to align engineering deliverables with budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and identify potential risks.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract engineering, M&E design, or project management, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of managing full project lifecycles from conceptualization to handover.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or other industry-standard design and simulation software.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international clients and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and M&E system standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Certifications in PMP, LEED, or similar are highly advantageous.
