Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end administration of retail business contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, ensuring all records are organized, accessible, and aligned with operational and regulatory standards.
- Monitor contract performance, identifying risks, discrepancies, or opportunities for optimization, and propose corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Operations) to align contract terms with business objectives and operational plans.
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates, workflows, and best practices to streamline administration processes.
- Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, obligations, and dispute resolution.
- Conduct regular audits of contract portfolios to ensure adherence to terms, deadlines, and renewal requirements.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management on contract status, risks, and key metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the energy, retail, or utilities sector.
- Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards relevant to retail business operations.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
