Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, ensuring seamless scalability as the business grows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture best practices and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards, including implementing robust access controls and encryption protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate the teamâs cloud expertise.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong background in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with global teams.
