Responsibility
- Cloud Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Architecture Design: Lead the design of highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering technical growth and collaborative problem-solving.
- Cost Optimization: Implement cost-monitoring tools and strategies to maximize cloud resource efficiency without compromising performance.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) and local/regional compliance requirements.
- Automation & DevOps: Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools to streamline deployments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, security, and operations teams to deliver seamless cloud integrations.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and test robust backup, recovery, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (AWS/Azure/GCP certifications are a plus).
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, AKS, BigQuery), containers (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation, and experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Security Mindset: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and zero-trust architectures.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and propose scalable solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English proficiency to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on iterative delivery.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
