Responsibility
- Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for construction and approval purposes.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural integrity and identify potential risks or improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations using advanced software tools to optimize designs.
- Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and structural analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Experience working on international projects or in multicultural environments is an advantage.
