Responsibility
- Category Strategy Development: Define and execute category vision, growth drivers, and assortment strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
- Shopper & Market Insights: Leverage data analytics to identify consumer trends, shopper behaviors, and competitive benchmarks to inform category decisions.
- Retail Execution Excellence: Lead in-store implementation of category plans, including shelf optimization, promotions, and visual merchandising.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align category strategies with business goals and operational capabilities.
- Trade & Vendor Negotiations: Manage relationships with retailers and suppliers to secure favorable terms, placements, and collaborative growth initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs (e.g., sales, market share, ROI) and adjust strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Innovation & NPD: Drive new product development and category innovation based on emerging consumer needs and market gaps.
- Budget & Forecasting: Develop and manage category budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree: In Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 7+ years in category management, trade marketing, or FMCG retail, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Excel, Power BI) and category management software.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and long-term category growth plans.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, retail trends, and shopper marketing in Southeast Asia.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Results-Driven: Track record of delivering measurable growth in sales, market share, and profitability.
