Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documents to create accurate drafts.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local building codes, and client specifications.
- Organize and maintain digital files and drawing libraries for easy retrieval and version control.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters and team members.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) software when required to enhance project coordination.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Drafter in architectural, engineering, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks; familiarity with BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, dimensions, and annotations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
