Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end billing process for a portfolio of international clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
- Collaborate with attorneys, finance teams, and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and reduce errors.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to billing activities, providing insights to senior management.
- Train and mentor junior billing coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of billing systems and tools.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and firm policies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing financial operations and client service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proficient in billing software and ERP systems (e.g., Elite, Aderant, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Experience in training or mentoring junior staff is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
