Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for our digital banking platform using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security to ensure seamless user experiences and compliance with financial regulations.
- Implement robust APIs and microservices to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development processes to continuously improve our systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on digital banking or fintech.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing high-quality code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
