Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and schema design for high-traffic applications.
- Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold quality and foster team growth.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong portfolio of scalable applications.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or PHP.
- Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with API design (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
