Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for our SaaS platform using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, architect, and ship new features that enhance user experience and system performance.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing for high performance and scalability (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL).
- Implement robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption to protect sensitive information.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software development.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug backend systems to ensure uptime, reliability, and seamless operation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in our tech stack.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on Java and Spring Framework.
- Strong proficiency in RESTful API design, development, and integration with frontend systems.
- Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, caching mechanisms (Redis), and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
