Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage AWS-based cloud solutions tailored for railway infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing railway systems, optimizing performance and reducing operational costs.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS tools such as CloudFormation, Lambda, and EC2 to streamline railway operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based railway applications, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices to safeguard railway data and systems against cyber threats.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging AWS technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing upgrades to enhance system efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on AWS services and architecture.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying cloud solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the transportation or railway sector.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM, with hands-on experience in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and compliance standards relevant to railway systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools is highly desirable.
