Responsibility
- Lead and manage IT operations for NTU's College of Engineering, ensuring high availability and performance of IT systems.
- Develop and implement scalable IT strategies aligned with the university's academic and research goals.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures, data protection, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and administrative teams to deliver innovative IT solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and AI integration.
- Mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity planning for critical IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, network architecture, and enterprise IT systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and strategic IT planning.
- Familiarity with academic or research environments is a plus.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.
