Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications for payment solutions and POS integrations.
- Build end-to-end demos and proof-of-concept (POC) applications to showcase technical capabilities and drive client adoption.
- Integrate third-party POS systems and payment gateways, ensuring seamless compatibility and robust security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver scalable solutions.
- Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and user experience to meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in Android applications and integrations.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of published apps or projects.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture).
- Experience with payment solutions, POS integrations, or fintech applications is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDK integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or local payment gateways).
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, secure data storage, and compliance with PCI-DSS or other relevant standards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Espresso, JUnit), and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
