Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide data-driven recommendations to mitigate quality risks in product releases.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, and implement innovations to enhance testing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar).
- Proven expertise in test automation (Selenium, Appium, Postman, etc.) and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate QA metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Experience with performance, security, and usability testing is highly desirable.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a strong advantage.
