Responsibility
- Design, develop, and verify radiation-hardened analog ICs for high-reliability applications, including space, aviation, and industrial systems.
- Lead the full design cycle from concept and schematic entry to layout, simulation, and silicon validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (layout, verification, test) to ensure first-pass success and optimal performance.
- Optimize circuits for power efficiency, noise immunity, and radiation tolerance using advanced EDA tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in analog design methodologies and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends in analog IC design, radiation effects, and semiconductor technologies.
- Document design specifications, test reports, and validation results for compliance with MIL-STD, ISO, and customer-specific standards.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design flows and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in analog IC design, with a focus on precision, mixed-signal, or radiation-hardened circuits.
- Proven expertise in CMOS, BiCMOS, or SOI processes and deep sub-micron technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Cadence Spectre, ADE, Virtuoso, and HSPICE.
- Strong understanding of radiation effects (TID, SEE, SEL) and mitigation techniques in analog circuits.
- Familiarity with layout-dependent effects (LDE) and parasitic extraction for analog designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex analog circuits at the transistor level.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in global, multidisciplinary teams.
