We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Bali, Indonesia. Responsibility
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax, and coordinate with tax advisors as needed.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial audits and working with external auditors.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
