This is a full-time, onsite position based in one of Bali’s most sought-after locations: Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead the general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes and ensure compliance.
- Oversee tax reporting and filings, working closely with tax advisors to optimize fiscal efficiency.
- Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 2-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit roles.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards (Indonesian GAAP preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (if not already based in the target locations).
