Note: This role is open to candidates based in Bali or those willing to relocate. Hybrid/remote work arrangements are available.
Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including GST/VAT filings and corporate tax reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, or local accounting standards (Indonesian accounting knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and payroll taxes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
