Responsibility
- Manage full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including GST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth audits.
- Implement and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth and cost optimization.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian and Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in financial reporting, auditing, and internal controls.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
