Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing processes to enhance yield, efficiency, and product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze process performance using statistical tools and data-driven methodologies.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE) to validate process enhancements and new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices and process optimizations.
- Document process specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, fabrication, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and doping.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience with process simulation tools, CAD software, or laboratory equipment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with ISO, SEMI, or other industry standards is advantageous.
