The City Government of Angeles is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard I to join our professional security team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the safety and security of government facilities, personnel, and assets. As a Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed while providing excellent service to employees and visitors. This position is ideal for candidates who are disciplined, observant, and committed to public service.
Responsibility
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the designated area to identify and report potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or reported incidents and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain a detailed logbook of daily activities, occurrences, and surveillance observations.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment to ensure the perimeter remains secure at all times.
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff while maintaining strict access control policies.
- Enforce government facility rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least two years of college studies or equivalent vocational training.
- Must possess a valid Security Guard license issued by the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., PADPAO/PNP-SOSIA).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional security experience, preferably in a government or corporate setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during critical incidents.
- Physical fitness to perform duties requiring standing, walking, and potential rapid response.
- Must be a Filipino citizen with no derogatory record.
