Responsibility
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather, analyze, and validate financial data for accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Monitor and implement updates to SEC reporting requirements and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and address any findings.
- Develop and maintain documentation for internal controls and reporting processes.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and disclosures.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience with XBRL tagging and SEC EDGAR filings is highly desirable.
