Responsibility
- Monitor and confirm vessel departure schedules to ensure on-time shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, carriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel movements, delays, and cancellations.
- Communicate real-time updates to stakeholders, including customers and operational teams.
- Verify and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs clearance.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sea freight operations or vessel coordination.
- Strong understanding of maritime logistics, shipping documentation, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
