Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage patient schedules, ensuring timely and accurate appointments.
- Handle authorization processes for home health services, verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Oversee patient intake procedures, collecting and documenting essential information in the EMR system.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the WellSky EMR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide bilingual support (English/Spanish) to patients and stakeholders, enhancing communication and understanding.
- Monitor and track authorization statuses, resolving any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize scheduling and authorization workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in healthcare coordination, scheduling, or authorization roles.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, with specific experience in WellSky.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and authorizations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability.
