Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company’s client base in ocean and airfreight services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, shipping lines, and airlines to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and service providers to maximize profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with a focus on ocean and airfreight.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with high-level stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
