Responsibility
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to expand the client portfolio in stainless steel and metal trading across Singapore and Asia.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and industrial buyers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present market forecasts, sales reports, and performance analytics to senior management.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of metal products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting steel and metal markets.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in steel, metals, or industrial commodities trading.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients.
- Deep understanding of steel and metal product specifications, grades, and applications.
- Ability to analyze market data and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Excel, and sales forecasting tools.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
