Responsibility
- Assist in risk identification and assessment for reinsurance operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, including monitoring and reporting on regulatory changes.
- Conduct research on financial regulations, industry best practices, and emerging risks to inform decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on risk exposure, compliance status, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Assist in audit preparations and respond to inquiries from regulators or internal stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of risk and compliance practices.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Law, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Basic understanding of risk management principles, compliance frameworks, or financial regulations (e.g., Solvency II, Basel III).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a bonus.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in risk management, compliance, or insurance is advantageous.
