Responsibility
- Oversee complete revenue cycle operations from patient registration to final payment collection
- Develop and implement RCM strategies to improve financial performance and reduce claim denials
- Lead and mentor a team of RCM specialists, providing training and performance management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and local financial standards
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize revenue integrity
- Identify process improvements and implement automation where applicable
- Manage relationships with insurance providers and government healthcare programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management or healthcare finance
- Proven leadership experience managing RCM teams (2+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and claims processing
- Experience with healthcare information systems (EHR/EMR) and RCM software
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and KPIs
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Certification in Healthcare Financial Management (HFMA) or similar is a plus
