Responsibility
- Process and record revenue collections accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with municipal financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of revenue collection strategies and initiatives.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue collection, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
