Responsibility
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries, product locations, and checkout processes.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/non-cash payments with integrity.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist in receiving and unpacking new merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all store areas, including sales floors, storage, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Report any issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions, stock shortages) to the store manager promptly.
- Participate in promotional activities, in-store events, and marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic and sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
