Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and assist with restocking merchandise.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Assist in daily store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation.
- Promote sales, special offers, and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math and cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills is advantageous.
